Tom Brady is a household name. He’s indisputably a superstar. And the Patriots are lucky to have him on their team. The same is true for Floyd Chan in the Microsoft Dynamics channel, where Floyd is revered, respected, and often called “the NAV genius” by industry peers. That’s why Qixas is lucky to have Floyd on our team. And our clients are equally lucky to have Floyd on their team.
If you haven’t had the pleasure of meeting Floyd yet, here’s some background information to get you acquainted. Floyd has been a Microsoft Dynamics professional since 1998. He is the one of the founding principals of Qixas Group where he heads the technology team and the technology planning process. Floyd is a master ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) architect, known for his acumen, insights and attention to detail.
Floyd has long been a leading (MCT) for Microsoft Canada, and a frequent guest speaker at industry conferences and events. He has spent years mastering the art and science of how to best architect, design, develop, implement, optimize and support business management solutions.
In early 2016, Microsoft USA reached out to Floyd Chan, in his capacity as president of Qixas Group and an MCT, to assist with training Dynamics NAV partners in North America. Floyd took this as an opportunity for the Qixas team of senior NAV consultants to update the existing Microsoft Dynamics NAV courseware and the Microsoft Dynamics NAV training image that would be used for this Microsoft North America initiative.
Microsoft hosted the first accelerated two-week Dynamics NAV boot camp comprised of six Microsoft courses in April 2016 at their office in Irvine, California. The response was a sold out event! To accommodate those who had been unable to register after all of the seats had been filled, Floyd hosted a second Dynamics NAV boot camp for Microsoft in Atlanta. This event was also sold out! Then a third event in Dallas was also sold out!
Microsoft was thrilled and so was Floyd, who commented how happy he was to be an integral part of this training initiative and in Microsoft’s investment in the Dynamics NAV partner community throughout North America.
More recently, Qixas Group was requested by Microsoft to deliver Dynamics 365 Business Central training to more than 35 Microsoft senior leaders from around the globe. This special 2-day session, held at the Microsoft headquarters in Redmond, Washington, was led by none other than Floyd Chan.
Back at Qixas and never content to rest on his laurels, Floyd continues to share his prodigious expertise as one of several Qixas Academy trainers. A wide range of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Microsoft Dynamics CRM courses are taught under the auspices of the ever popular Qixas Academy. More than 500 companies and more than 1,500 individuals have taken advantage of group and private training classes offered on a regular schedule.
